Taqueria La Esquina is a family-owned Mexican restaurant that’s been serving up authentic dishes in our community for over 15 years. I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was impressed by the bold and flavorful dishes that showcase the rich culinary traditions of Mexico.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Taqueria La Esquina is casual and welcoming, with colorful decor and traditional music playing in the background. The staff is friendly and eager to share their knowledge of the menu and the history behind each dish.
Appetizers: To start, we ordered the guacamole and chips and the queso fundido. The guacamole was made fresh to order with perfectly ripe avocados, diced tomatoes, and a touch of lime. The queso fundido was a delicious and indulgent mix of melted cheese and chorizo, served with warm tortillas for dipping.
Main courses: For our main course, we tried the carne asada tacos and the chiles rellenos. The carne asada was tender and flavorful, with a perfectly charred exterior and a juicy interior. Dessert: We couldn’t resist ordering the tres leches cake for dessert, and we were not disappointed. The moist sponge cake soaked in a sweet and creamy mixture of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream was a decadent and satisfying end to our meal.
